Virtualization Consultant (VMware v Sphere)The Virtualization Consultant will be responsible for managing and coordinating IT asset relocation, specifically focusing on VMware v Sphere infrastructure. The role will involve collaboration with project leads, SMEs, and multiple teams to ensure smooth execution of a large-scale data center relocation project. Responsibilities: Manage and coordinate IT asset relocation, particularly VMware v Sphere infrastructure. Work closely with Project Leads and Virtualization SMEs on project planning activities. Ensure timely resolution of requests with appropriate reporting. Collaborate with Infrastructure teams, Application teams, and peers to define specifications and gather requirements. Regularly follow up with Infrastructure teams, Application Support teams, Business, and other stakeholders. Requirements: Proven experience in managing large-scale infrastructure projects, including data center relocations. Strong knowledge of VMware v Sphere infrastructure. Familiarity with regional IT vendors. Effective communication skills for managing stakeholders at all levels. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management abilities. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Qualifications: Technical experience with UNIX/Windows servers, storage, switches, and firewalls (preferred). Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
