Manage payroll operations in selected markets by supervising internal Payroll Managers, and ensuring set deliverables from payroll vendors according to market compliance, corporate guidelines, controls, and standards. Develop regional payroll strategy across the Asia Pacific by working closely with stakeholders from human resources, finance, legal, and business, and implement continuous improvement to drive standardization and automation. Manage vendor relationships to enable efficient resolution of complex payroll queries. Cultivate a collaborative, growth, and risk management mindset in the team. Requirements
Degree holder with proven experience leading large-scale payroll function across several markets. Strong service mindset and leadership competency towards internal and external parties. Able to drive change and improvement effectively. Fluent in English; Chinese language is highly preferred. Manage the end-to-end employee journey operation with the support of internal HR COE and SSC teams. Handle daily staff issues and enquiries, provide professional HR advice, and champion quality people support and employee well-being. Handle end-to-end Talent Acquisition process and organize recruitment-related activities up to Manager level. Work with Shared Service Center on supporting the employee lifecycle including all C&B operations and on/off boarding. Maintain employee relations and support HRD on advisory to employees. Support the initiation, planning, and implementation of HR process and procedures digitalization. Be the subject matter expert in the HR team and work closely with IT Department and vendors on project timelines and budgets, as well as testing and system migration processes. Engage and support users of the system to ensure smooth deployment and maximize usage. Support the HRM in setting up and driving learning and development programs for the organization. Collaborate with both business leaders and external consultants to identify training needs and provide meaningful learning solutions. Write up proposals, policies, and communication materials to initiate and implement smoothly different training and internship programs in the organization.
