APAC OMR IT – Business Analyst / Project Manager
Responsibilities Direct Responsibilities Act as BA/PM for OMR DEV IT Team, responsible for delivering all APAC OMR Projects Roadmap and responsible to build sustainable OMR Eco-system in APAC, APAC TOKOS DECOMM project to replace TOKOS application with OMR. Engage in detailed studies, solution definition and business analysis on the project scope – including accounting, payments and other deal booking initiatives. Act as Project Manager/Business Analyst for Regional & Local Initiatives to enhance Local Back Office IT platform for Global Markets and ALMT business lines. Mentor, nurture and build a strong Program management team in Asia driving the APAC programs and building a mindset of transversal end to end project management. Gather business requirements, perform analysis, write BRDs and Functional Specification for Development teams and prepare Testing strategies, write test cases and scripts, perform testing and coordinate UAT with the business users. Act as an interface between business stakeholders, internal teams, third party vendors, development team and APS teams. Provide regular updates to project sponsors and business stakeholders, organize project steering meetings and issue meeting minutes. Collaborate and follow up with development teams regionally/globally to establish IT Solutions and ensure timely delivery of the IT Solution. Develop good communication channels and good working relationships with Central teams in Europe and ISPL and ability to influence global teams to deliver APAC specific requirements. Pre-empt and escalate any risks/issues to management/steering committees in a timely manner. Provide tactical solutions to business in case of tight timelines and collaborate with different stakeholders to provide strategic solutions. Provide training to Business Users and APS team before the functional project go-live and prepare support documents on the wiki/SharePoint. Contribute to the team resource development. Effectively transfer and share functional and technical knowledge to team mates. Contributing Responsibilities Set up strong and maintain Governance framework on the execution of APAC OMR Projects. Prepare consistent reporting to Senior Management about the project progress, achievements, in‐pipeline activities and risks related to project execution. Systematically lead by example for other project managers in terms of implementing Project Methodology for APAC projects. Advise Business/Stakeholders on any new projects, any impact on day to day activities, identify the potential risks and suggest solutions to meet their requirements. Strong hands-on business knowledge on Corporate and Investment banking Back Office Trade Processing, Settlement & Accounting Chains – FX, Rates, Structured Deposits, Fixed income products, Corporate Loan & Trade Finance is a MUST. Strong understanding of the front to back booking chain on Booking, Validation, Confirmation, Settlements, Accounting, Reconciliations, PNL and Risk calculations is a MUST. Strong Project Management skillset and expertise in delivering large transformation programs. Ability to manage change and complexity with confidence and is a Strong team player. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint). Basic Knowledge on SQLs. Seniority level
