Role and Responsibilities: This position is an integral part of the Maintenance & Engineering team to uphold the safety, quality and compliance of the Maintenance and Engineering operations, supported by the Quality Assurance and Safety team. The position is responsible for maintaining an effective quality assurance and safety management system that identifies quality-related issues and risks, as well as driving for mitigations and improvements that support business objectives. AOC related issues: Organization, control, co-ordination and development of Quality and Airworthiness management systems; Ensure that all required Engineering regulatory approvals, delegated authorities and certificates are renewed; Maintain the currency of HK Express Maintenance Support Arrangement and Organization procedures accepted by HKCAD; Oversee compliance with all regulatory requirements, including instructions for continued airworthiness; Monitor fleet and Engineering airworthiness compliance and request timely remedial action as necessary; Advise management on issues or proposed changes in legislation affecting approvals held by HK Express; Implement new quality management concepts and techniques; Promote and continuously improve quality standards of M&E team and service providers; Communicate with HKCAD and other aviation authorities on all AOC and HKAR-145 related matters; Build and maintain strong collaboration with HKCAD and external airworthiness authorities; Ensure authorization holders are aware of their accountabilities and responsibilities; Establish training guidelines and policies for HKE AOC and HKAR 145 requirements; Assess and evaluate maintenance training needs and establish training programs as necessary. Qualifications: Degree or above qualification in engineering or any related discipline; Minimum 12 years of related working and management experience in aircraft maintenance and quality assurance; Holder of HKCAD HKAR 66 B1.1 / B.2 / B2* License holder with Airbus A320; Complete Hong Kong Airworthiness course; Complete Auditor training course or equivalent; Complete SMS training; Demonstrate strong knowledge in AN(HK)O, HKARs, CAD AN and continued airworthiness processes; Good communication skills and experience working with HKCAD; Good command of written and spoken English & Chinese; Experience in Aviation Safety Management will be advantageous.
