Rapidly expanding financial services client seeking a Responsible Officer (RO) for their insurance brokerage business. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in obtaining the license for their new insurance brokerage business. The budget for this position ranges from 700k to 1mil base salary. Key Responsibilities
Manage the daily operations of the insurance brokerage firm to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements established by the Insurance Authority (IA). Support the preparation and submission of license applications to the Insurance Authority (IA). Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurers, and other stakeholders. Provide expert advice and recommendations on a range of insurance products and services. Train and mentor junior staff, encouraging a culture of continuous learning and professional development. Requirements
At least 8 years of relevant experience in the insurance industry, including a minimum of 3 years in a managerial position. Must currently hold a RO license from an insurance broker company. Established relationships with leading insurers in Hong Kong, with the ability to obtain reference letters. In-depth understanding of the regulatory framework and requirements of the Insurance Authority (IA). Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. High standards of integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct. Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. Fluency in both Chinese and English. Seniority level
