IT Officer - Network and System Administration
Responsibilities Set up and configure virtual machines, storage, and networking resources required to support cloud-based applications. Monitor performance to ensure maximum uptime and minimal downtime. Maintain and manage computer hardware/application software of IT technical infrastructure and operations of HK and construction sites/offices. Perform the zero-day vulnerability assessment and proactively provide corresponding advice and follow-up actions. Work collaboratively with teams, suppliers, vendors, and users to deliver assigned projects and tasks on schedule and to run daily operations smoothly. Monitor end-user computing performance to determine whether adjustments need to be made, and to determine where changes will need to be made in the future. Continuously optimize the cloud environment for efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Resolve Azure services-related issues promptly. Requirements Degree/Higher Diploma in Information Technology related discipline. At least 3 years of working experience in network design/engineering. Proven experience in information system security, system administration and monitoring; familiarity with Windows PowerShell and Azure CLI is highly preferred. Strong knowledge and implementation experience of network switches, firewalls, and security solutions in an enterprise environment. Technical skills in Microsoft AD, Exchange, Azure, M365; Hyperconverged Infrastructure, and VM virtualization products. Seniority level
