Provide actuarial expertise to assess and quantify insurance risks, including underwriting, pricing, reserving, and capital management. Conduct risk analysis and scenario testing to evaluate the impact of market and insurance risks. Collaborate with internal stakeholders including pricing and product teams to ensure robust risk strategies. Prepare risk reports and present findings and recommendations to senior management and regulatory bodies. Stay updated on changes in regulatory requirements and industry best practices to ensure compliance and effective risk management. Support the development and maintenance of risk models for risk assessment and reporting purposes. Engage with external auditors, regulators, and industry bodies to provide risk-related insights and ensure compliance. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Risk Management, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications such as FIA, FSA, or equivalent actuarial qualifications preferred. Minimum of 7 years' experience in insurance risk management or actuarial-related roles within the insurance industry. Strong knowledge of risk management frameworks, regulatory requirements, and actuarial methodologies. Proficiency in risk modelling techniques and statistical analysis tools. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide strategic insights. Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively engage with stakeholders and senior management. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
