(Senior) Business Development/ Commercial Manager
We are looking for a
(Senior) Business Development/ Commercial Manager
to join our team at the Dongguan office, located just 30 minutes from Shenzhen. This role involves collaborating with R&D and Product Development teams to ensure alignment with client specifications, managing key client relationships throughout the product lifecycle, and formulating strategies to drive growth and market share. You will report directly to the Head of Commercial, and oversee contract negotiations and lead a dynamic team, fostering a culture of innovation and customer-centricity. Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree, over 5 years of relevant experience, a strong understanding of high-tech electronic consumer products, and exceptional communication skills to bridge technical and commercial perspectives. We will refer to this position as Commercial Manager, with the designation of Senior depending on the candidate's years of experience. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leader in precision technology and contribute to the growth of a forward-thinking organization. Key Responsibilities Product Development Collaboration : Working closely with R&D and PD teams to align product development with client specifications. Key Client Relationship Management : Building and maintaining relationships with existing key clients and potential clients, from development phases to after sales customer phase, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Strategy Development : Formulating and implementing business development strategies to drive growth and increase market share. Business Terms Negotiation : Taking lead in negotiating contracts and agreements with clients, while initiating efforts to secure favourable terms that align with the company’s overall objectives. Translate client requirements into actionable plans for technical teams and vice versa. Team Leadership:
Leading and mentoring marketing/ commercial/ PD team, fostering a culture of innovation and customer-centric. Qualifications Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field Master’s degree (MBA) is often preferred. In-depth understanding of high-tech electronic consumer products and market dynamics. Familiarity with manufacturing processes and supply chain management is a plus Over 5 years in a business development manager role in multinational companies serving key accounts Full ownership of key accounts and a proven history of success. Demonstrated project management skills with a strong track record. Strong aesthetic sense with the ability to translate concepts effectively.
