Key Responsibilities:
Identify and evaluate investment opportunities, conducting thorough market analysis and financial assessments. Source promising startups and generate deal flow through networking within startup communities. Review pitch decks, attend startup pitches, and conduct financial analysis to assess investment opportunities. Prepare investment memos and present insights to decision-makers for deal selection. Research and analyze industry trends, emerging technologies, and business models to refine investment strategies. Build and maintain relationships with startups, venture capital firms, accelerators, and industry partners. Required Skills and Qualifications:
A university degree (non-finance degrees are also welcome). 1 to 3 years of experience in venture capital, startups, finance, accounting, or similar fields. Strong skills in financial analysis and modeling. Exceptional attention to detail when reviewing contracts, documents, and investment notes. A genuine curiosity and enthusiasm for learning about new industries, technologies, and trends. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for clear and professional reporting and presentations. Ability to handle a high volume of opportunities with persistence and focus. Emotional intelligence and a collaborative, team-oriented approach. Experience or exposure to Asian markets and networks is a plus. Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in an additional regional language is preferred.
