The Senior Technical IT Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the technical aspects of both our solution scoping collaboration and program delivery. This individual will be responsible for understanding solution requirements, designing tailored solutions, preparing technical proposals that align with both the solution objectives and our company's capabilities, and collaborating with different IT functional units for planning, executing, and closing the delivery. This role requires a deep understanding of various IT domains, excellent leadership and presentation skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand key stakeholder (internal or external) requirements and design comprehensive IT solutions that encompass both application and infrastructure components. Develop detailed technical proposals, including architecture diagrams, implementation plans, and cost estimates. Engage with internal stakeholders or external customers to gather technical or business requirements, address concerns, and provide expert advice on IT solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proposed solutions are feasible and align with company capabilities. Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders. Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets. Lead cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, and infrastructure specialists, to ensure successful project execution. Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates, managing expectations, and addressing concerns. Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks. Develop contingency plans to address potential issues. Allocate resources effectively to ensure project milestones are met. Manage project budgets and track expenditures. Ensure that all project deliverables meet quality standards and comply with company policies and industry best practices. Vendor Management: Coordinate with third-party vendors and contractors to ensure timely delivery of products and services. Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement and implement lessons learned in future projects. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred. Experience: Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience, with a focus on both application and infrastructure solutions. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of application development frameworks, cloud platforms, and enterprise software solutions. Expertise in infrastructure technologies, including networking, storage, virtualization, and data center solutions. Proficiency in designing and implementing hybrid and multi-cloud architectures. Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools. Experience with cybersecurity principles and best practices. Soft Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, IBM, Red Hat, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Cisco CCIE etc) are a plus. Seniority level
