Lead of Performance Marketing
to lead the growth of our affiliate, partnership, and digital distribution programs, focusing on acquiring new customers and driving engagement with our financial products and services, including credit, loans, deposits, and investment offerings. This role will also focus on expanding distribution channels to target new customer segments, with a particular emphasis on engaging Mainland China visitors to Hong Kong. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in performance marketing and a proven track record of leveraging partnerships and digital platforms to grow customer bases in competitive markets. Responsibilities Customer Acquisition and Growth Develop and execute data-driven performance marketing strategies to acquire new customers through affiliate, partnership, and digital distribution channels. Design targeted campaigns to promote financial products such as credit cards, loans, and investment services, ensuring relevance to customer needs and behaviors. Leverage digital marketing and partnerships to capture high-value customer segments, including Mainland China travelers to Hong Kong. Optimize the customer acquisition funnel, focusing on improving conversion rates and lowering the cost per acquisition (CPA). Identify and onboard new digital distribution platforms (e.g., fintech platforms, travel apps, lifestyle marketplaces) to enhance reach and accessibility to potential customers. Collaborate with travel, retail, and lifestyle platforms popular among Hong Kong consumers and Mainland Chinese visitors to promote banking services tailored to their needs. Develop and integrate seamless payment and financial solutions into digital ecosystems frequented by target audiences. Leverage mobile-first strategies and digital wallets to engage cross-border travelers and promote easy adoption of banking products. Affiliate and Partnership Program Leadership Build and manage a high-performing affiliate network that drives quality leads and measurable business outcomes. Forge strategic partnerships with travel agencies, online booking platforms, and e-commerce players to reach target audiences. Negotiate and manage commission structures to incentivize affiliates to promote the bank’s products and services effectively. Oversee affiliate program tracking systems to ensure accurate attribution and reporting of contributions. Performance and Product Optimization Analyze campaign performance metrics to evaluate effectiveness in driving new customer sign-ups and increasing product usage, such as loans and investment accounts. Conduct A/B testing on creatives, messaging, and offers to optimize campaigns and improve product adoption. Use insights to design campaigns that cross-sell complementary products, such as pairing credit cards with travel offers or loans with investment options. Localized Campaigns for Mainland China Visitors Develop customized campaigns targeting Mainland Chinese visitors, focusing on cross-border financial services, currency exchange, and rewards programs. Leverage partnerships with popular digital platforms (e.g., WeChat, Alipay, Trip.com/Ctrip) to drive awareness and adoption of banking products. Ensure marketing strategies are aligned with cultural preferences and regulatory requirements for cross-border transactions. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with operations, product marketing, digital, and analytics teams to align marketing strategies with product and program launches, customer insights, and revenue goals. Work with compliance and legal teams to ensure all campaigns adhere to relevant financial regulations and ethical practices. Collaborate with technology teams to enhance the digital user experience and support seamless integration with third-party platforms. Build and mentor a team of performance marketing specialists, instilling a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement. Provide thought leadership on the latest trends in affiliate, partnership, and digital distribution marketing, particularly in financial services and cross-border commerce. Qualifications Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). Experience:
12–15 years in performance marketing, with a focus on affiliate programs, partnerships, and digital distribution; experience in financial services or digital banking is highly preferred. Skills: Expertise in affiliate marketing platforms, analytics tools, and performance optimization. Strong understanding of financial products such as credit cards, loans, and investments. Proven ability to develop and scale digital distribution channels. Experience with cross-border marketing strategies, especially targeting both Hong Kong consumers as well as Mainland Chinese audiences. Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills with partners and affiliates. Excellent analytical and communication skills, with a data-driven mindset. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Growth in customer acquisition through affiliate, partnership, and digital distribution channels. Increase in adoption and usage of financial products such as credit, loans, and investments. Expansion of digital distribution platforms targeting cross-border travelers, particularly Mainland Chinese customers. Improvement in CPA and ROI for performance marketing campaigns.
