Business Development Manager - Global Payment Company (Base HKD 45K - 55K) | For Retail, Fast Fashion, E-Commerce Marketplace Clients
Our client is a Global Payment Company with a strong presence in Asia Pacific. They are expanding Hong Kong's Business Development department, focusing on acquiring more
Retail, Fast Fashion, and Regional E-Commerce Marketplace clients. Key Responsibilities: a. New Business: Develop a sales strategy to meet KPI and revenue targets, in consultation with the manager and senior management team Hunt and sign up new key & enterprise accounts (E-Commerce/ Marketplace) Develop new sales opportunities through the early and timely identification of new business trends Maintain a strong pipeline of new business, identify opportunities, and lead all aspects of deal execution, including strategic & financial assessment, solution development, and negotiation Collaborate with potential key clients and the internal marketing team to develop and implement marketing programs as necessary b. Expand Sales Channels and Manage Referrals: Build strong relationships with key referral partners Regularly monitor sales and profitability of merchants and partners to maximize business and identify and convert cross-sell/upsell opportunities Periodically review commercials of merchants under assigned portfolio and re-price as necessary Collaborate with clients and the internal marketing team to develop and implement marketing programs to drive sales volume c. Manage Portfolio and Market: Execute strategy to target specific market segments & product partnerships, including, but not limited to, payment agents and financial institutions, and lead its execution Analyze and understand partners’ and customers’ business objectives, requirements, and technical contexts, to design tailored solutions for both Business and Technical executives of the counterparty Develop and conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and customer training Design partner and customer solutions to enhance and advance the product positioning of the company, in collaboration with Business Development, Project, IT, and Operational Support teams throughout the lifecycle Requirements: 5-8+ years of relevant experience in Business Development/ Sales / Client Acquisition (Hunter) Industry knowledge in Payment / E-Commerce / FinTech domain areas Existing relationships or relevant experiences in dealing with
local and regional retail, fast fashion, and e-commerce marketplace clients (big plus) Good communication skills, proactive, and can work in a lean startup culture Fluent in Cantonese, English, and Mandarin Seniority Level
