Responsibilities
Drive the full lifecycle of AI & Data solution implementations from scoping and planning to execution and post-deployment support.
Communicate with internal and external stakeholders on project progress and deliverables.
Guide cross-functional parties, mentor junior staff, and foster a culture of innovation and accountability.
Collaborate with end users, data engineers and software engineers to define project requirements and deliverables.
Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation, for various AI projects.
Strong resource management with capacity planning, headcount decisions, vendor oversight, and monthly reporting to senior management.
Lead, design, develop, maintain and manage advanced reporting, analytics, and dashboards built in a self-development Data platform.
Lead the technical team in responding to the project owner and in compiling the project proposal.
Lead code reviews, mentor junior developers in clean code practices, and manage early-stage technical debt.
Review functional and technical specifications and prepare for user, client, or partner vendors.
Perform and document data analysis, data validation, and data mapping/design by accessing multiple sources.
Lead the cloud infrastructure team on non-production and production IaaS development and environments.
Lead the architecture design and define the end-to-end data lifecycle from ingestion (batch/stream) and storage (vector database) to model inference and API delivery.
Managing defects and bugs during the SIT and UAT phase, and ensuring that the project could reach the goal of MVP
Attention to detail and high standards of documentation are expected
Ensure projects are delivered on-time to the standard required and within the constraints of the delivery process
Communicate and manage proactively on issues affecting delivery
Develop go-to-market strategies around data strategy, AI operating models, and GenAI-enabled transformation.
Develop and maintain the domain product roadmap in alignment with the overarching Integrated Operations Delivery programme strategy.
IoT & System integration experience with work on the protocols and platform to match the existing developed system.
Requirements
Degree or above in Computer Sciences, Software Engineering, Statistics, IT or related discipline preferred.
10 to 15 years of technical project development experience, preferably in AI, data analytics, or technology sectors.
Fluency in English and Cantonese is a must, and Mandarin is a plus.
Hands-on project experience on data integration and data visualization tools, have experience in Tableau, D3.js, Power BI, Highcharts, Qlik, Alteryx, it would be an advantage.
Strong AI project management experience in project delivery and service implementation
Team leadership for performance reviews, succession planning, and internal AI capability uplift
Proactive, self-motivated to drive high-quality and efficient solutions delivery and embrace team spirit
Experience in client-facing roles, with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical architecture and compelling proposals.
Knowledge in open source and closed source SLM and LLM. Agentic AI or RAG project experience would be an advantage.
Knowledge of RDBMSs such as SQL, MS SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MariaDB, or SQL Server.
Knowledge of NoSQL database services, such as MongoDB, Amazon DynamoDB
Skilled in designing AI solutions, including Generative AI, OCR, NLP and computer vision.
Experience in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google) deployment and management.
Bridges the gap between writing code (CI) and securely getting it into users' hands (CD).
Familiarity with GitHub-Native environment, specifically GitHub-centric workflows and GitHub Actions, is a plus.
Pipeline Orchestration help the project build modular workflows for continuous integration (linting, unit tests) and continuous deployment to staging or production.
Automating the evaluation of model performance (e.g., F1, precision, recall) and data integrity checks as gates for code merges.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
