Operation Specialist (Data Center Operator) - IC Client Description: Regional IT services and solutions provider Job Description: Responsible for providing help desk services; handling and escalating problems; Real-time monitoring of network/system health; Providing on-site technical support; printing and distributing user reports; Conducting routine system health checks; producing performance reports; Executing backup arrangements and supporting operations. Job Requirements: At least one (1) year of post-qualification computer operation experience in operating a data centre with systems supporting at least 200 concurrent users based on UNIX (Oracle Solaris, IBM AIX, etc.) and Windows platforms in a high-availability and cluster environment; At least one (1) year of post-qualification operation experience on government IT systems; Preferred hands-on experience in Unix (Oracle Solaris, IBM AIX, etc.) and Windows; Familiarity with WebLogic and UNIX would be an advantage; Good computer knowledge, communication skills, and telephone manner; Good command of English and Chinese; Willingness to work on public holidays & 7x24 roster; Work location: Tsuen Wan; shift is required.
