Front office Application Support Engineer

Provide level 1 and 2 support to front office business-critical users' queries and backend support to application issues, leveraging the existing ticketing and log monitoring tools. Ensure a high level of service delivery and customer satisfaction with timely resolutions aligned with SLAs and company policy standards. Provide feedback on the improvement of the procedures for conducting root-cause analysis and troubleshooting when primary performance issues and system downtime occur. Closely liaise with software development and data engineering teams on critical user requests and provide suggestions if necessary. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or other relevant disciplines. At least 3 years of production support experience in pretrade or posttrade operations in a fast-paced environment. Sound knowledge of financial instruments, such as stocks, options, bonds, indexes, futures, and interest rate swaps. Solid experience with Linux OS console and its commands and configuration. Hands-on scripting experience, including SQL, Bash, PowerShell, and Python. Experience with ticketing systems and monitoring tools, such as Grafana, Kibana, Dynatrace, Prometheus, or Splunk.
