Sustainable Product Specialist
will be a valuable asset to the Sustainable Product and Packaging team, operationalizing sustainable product programs and ensuring we can verify the preferred materials that go into our products. A day in the life: Support the maintenance of sustainable product programs through verification methods (transaction certificates, responsible cotton credits, etc.). Engage with supply chain partners to provide training and respond to queries related to lululemon’s sustainable product programs. Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including certification bodies and sustainability program owners. Contribute to internal implementation of new sustainable product programs (research, resource development, audits, etc.). Develop and educate teams on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) within the Sustainable Product Program team. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify training needs and facilitate knowledge-sharing initiatives. Provide insights to improve existing systems and processes for key initiatives. Monitor industry trends, regulations, and best practices. Qualifications: 2+ years’ experience with sustainable product programs in the textile and apparel industry. 2+ years’ experience working with textile/apparel supply chain partners. Understanding of sustainability initiatives and a passion for responsible transformation. Knowledge of the apparel, footwear, sportswear industry and global operations. Experience in process development and maintenance of tools and resources. Experience with product data collection and management. Ability to create compelling data analysis visuals. Experience with Microsoft 365 suite, Power BI, SharePoint, or similar tools. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
