Job Summary:

Responsibilities

  • Understand the company’s business requirements and deliver effective technical solutions in the Point-of-Sales (POS) space and its ecosystems such as supply chain management and various digital payment enablement.
  • Act as Level 2 application support subject matter expert to tackle system issues as well as facilitate business change requests
  • Assist project manager in project activities including end-to-end system design, implementation, test and deployment
  • Develop test plan and arrange tests to ensure that all the necessary testing such as unit, functional, performance, stress, acceptance test are well-covered
  • Collaborate between internal teams and external vendors to attain system compatibilities
  • Monitor and fine tune systems to meet service level and performance metrics
  • Provide system training to team members and users of various Lines of Business
  • Prepare and maintain system documentation, operation guides and training materials
  • Implement and support Company and Corporate system controls and ensure systems meet compliance standard and security policies

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent is preferred
  • 1 - 3 years of proven experience in implementation and support of IT systems
  • Hands on experience in MS SQL database, Windows and Linux operating environments
  • Experience in supporting Point of Sales system and Inventory Management Supply Chain Applications is an advantage
  • Demonstrate knowledge of Retails or Food & Beverage businesses
  • Experience in RFID technology is a bonus
  • Quick learner with good analytical and troubleshooting skills and able to work under pressure
  • Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and balance priorities
  • Demonstrate as a good team player and can work on own initiative with good attention to details and timeline
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willing to liaise between multiple local and overseas work partners and business users
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese
