Modernization & Refactoring:
Lead the transition of monolithic core services into a resilient, scalable microservices architecture.
Concurrency & Performance:
Optimize data-intensive workflows and low-latency streams to ensure 99.99% reliability for global wealth operations.
Global Engineering Synergy:
Collaborate with elite engineering hubs in India and Hong Kong to standardize APIs and cross-region data consistency.
Full-Stack Ownership:
Partner with Product and Architecture leads to influence the technical roadmap, ensuring end-to-end feature delivery and rigorous code quality.
Education and Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related quantitative field (e.g., Mathematics, Physics)
Minimum of 3–5+ years of post-graduate experience in backend software engineering, ideally within a high-growth fintech, a global banking environment, or a large-scale technology firm.
Technical expertise in Core Java (Class loading, Memory Management, GC Tuning) and high-concurrency multithreading.
Advanced experience with Spring Boot/Spring Cloud and building RESTful APIs that scale horizontally.
Strong proficiency in SQL (DB2/Oracle) and an understanding of how to manage complex data models in a distributed environment.
A solid grasp of OOP, SOLID principles, and Design Patterns (Saga, CQRS, Circuit Breaker).
Strong communication skills, able to articulate complex technical trade-offs to both technical peers and business stakeholders in a global setting.
Domain knowledge in ledger systems, portfolio accounting, or transaction lifecycles.
