Our Client, a luxury retail company, is seeking an IT Service Manager to join its team. You MUST be prepared to travel and work in Mainland China from Monday to Thursday for 75% of the month. Responsibilities Ensure global IT support aligns with overall business goals. Lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse team of IT professionals across multiple locations. Oversee data centers, networks, cloud environments, and on-premise systems. Ensure the uptime, performance, scalability, and security of all IT systems. Proactively manage and report on infrastructure capacity, implementing necessary improvements. Standardize IT practices and systems across all global locations. Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations, data privacy laws, and internal IT policies. Regularly update and enforce IT policies to reflect current best practices and legal requirements. Forecast future IT infrastructure needs based on business growth and evolving technologies. Ensure sufficient capacity to handle increasing demands and support business expansion. Manage relationships with vendors providing hardware, software, and IT services globally. Oversee global IT infrastructure budgeting, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency. Develop and implement a comprehensive disaster recovery plan. Ensure critical IT systems can be restored quickly in case of outages or disruptions. Oversee IT infrastructure-related projects, including planning, resource allocation, execution, and monitoring. Oversee and implement robust security measures to protect IT infrastructure and data. Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments, and address any identified risks. Requirements B.Sc. in information technology, Computer Science. 6 to 8 years experience in IT service management, with a focus on global infrastructure and support. Excellent understanding of ITIL processes, project management methodologies, and disaster recovery planning. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage relationships with stakeholders and vendors. Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization in a global IT context. Knowledge of industry regulations and data privacy laws, with a track record of ensuring compliance.
