Job Description: F&B Manager
Provide prompt updates to the Operations Manager regarding the priorities and opportunities of the Coffee Room and Boutique.
Ensure and be accountable for the Coffee Room’s profitability by managing sales growth and controlling costs of goods, inventory levels, labour, supplies, and expenses.
Maintain and uphold the brand image and knowledge of Bacha Coffee.
Manage staff schedules and coverage, ensuring alignment with the Coffee Room’s operational needs while maintaining target labour costs.
Promote and ensure safe work practices by identifying and resolving potential safety hazards. Document accidents and conduct investigations to determine the root cause, maintaining a safe work environment.
Responsible for ordering of stocks, inventory control, and ensuring latest products and updated product catalogue are in the Coffee House & Boutique.
Maintain high cleanliness standards in all areas, including the Coffee Room's appearance, equipment, and merchandise.
Ensure that the store is well-merchandised, following visual presentation plans and standards.
Provide counselling and take disciplinary action for staff who fail to meet company performance standards.
Manage staff leave (Annual Leave, Public Holidays) and other related staffing matters, ensuring schedules and leave applications are updated in the HRIS.
Conduct staff performance evaluations, including probation reviews and appraisals, providing constructive feedback.
Ensure adherence to company grooming standards and operational procedures daily.
Oversee all cash and media management functions. Able to perform all POS duties, front and back of house functions including opening and closing procedures, coordinating with the Corporate Office as necessary.
Maintain proper loss prevention standards, reviewing cash handling procedures, deposits, and safe procedures.
Oversee the ordering of stocks, inventory control, and ensure latest products are kept up to date within the Coffee House & Boutique.
Requirements:
Excellent communication skills with a strong command of both written and spoken English.
Preferably 8 years of relevant and management experience.
Minimum degree holder in Business or related discipline.
Experienced in the F&B industry, ideally in luxury hotels / goods industry.
Leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate staff.
Proficient with inventory systems, POS software, and operational workflows in F&B settings.
Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
Comprehensive knowledge of local food safety and hygiene regulations in Hong Kong.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
