The Role
This is a full-time on-site role for Resident Manager at Nina Hotel Tsuen Wan West located in Hong Kong SAR. The incumbent is responsible for assisting General Manager in day-to-day operational efficiency of the hotel operations including Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering, Risk and Safety, and special projects as assigned. Other duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Overseeing and ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures and policies by managing the day-to-day operation of the aforementioned departments effectively and efficiently, to maintain and enhance service quality and ensure guest satisfaction. Implementing departmental strategies and action plans in accordance with the hotel’s strategic sales and marketing plans and the yearly budget, delivering hotel budget goals, and assisting General Manager in executing short and long-term strategic goals for the hotel. Developing and maintaining goodwill with hotel guests by improving quality of services and standards, satisfying guest requests, resolving complaints, and pacifying guests as required. Reporting all irregularities, deficiencies, and emergencies with feasible recommendations and solutions. Conducting regular hotel walkthroughs and checking on the operational efficiency, service standards, cleanliness of all areas, and following up on defects promptly to ensure effective maintenance of all hotel facilities. Supporting the operational team during peak hours. Work Experience & Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Management, or related discipline. At least two years of hotel experience in the capacity of Hotel Manager or Resident Manager, preferably in large-scale hotel operations or 5-star international hotels. Effective leadership with emotional intelligence and empathy, able to lead by example and follow the hotel's SOP and P&P. Highly developed organizational and communication skills, with the ability to prioritize, delegate, schedule, and manage time effectively. Attention to detail and ability to provide clear directions and make quick and correct decisions. Broad knowledge of industry practices, including market trends and new technologies. Possess a well-rounded set of soft skills, a professional manner, and a calm, rational approach in hectic situations. Creative problem-solving skills. Familiarity with relevant regulations and laws. Fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese. Personal Data Privacy
