Position Overview Our client is seeking a Senior Manager of IT Audit to join our dynamic team in a prominent retail and commercial bank. This role offers the opportunity to potentially lead a small team of 3-4 auditors, depending on experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT audit, with relevant certifications and in-house experience preferred. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute comprehensive IT audit plans that align with the bank's objectives and regulatory requirements. Lead and mentor a small team of auditors, providing guidance, support, and professional development to enhance team performance. Identify and assess IT risks and controls, ensuring effective risk management practices are in place across the organization. Conduct IT audits, including application, infrastructure, and security audits, providing actionable recommendations to improve processes and controls. Prepare detailed audit reports and presentations for senior management and the Audit Committee, highlighting key findings and areas for improvement. Collaborate with various departments, including IT, compliance, and operations, to ensure comprehensive audit coverage and foster a culture of risk awareness. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree or additional certifications preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT audit, with a preference for candidates with in-house experience within the banking or financial services sector. Relevant certifications such as CISA, CISSP, or equivalent are required. In-depth understanding of IT auditing standards, risk management frameworks, and relevant regulatory requirements.
