As a Java Software Engineer in a leading investment bank, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining applications that drive financial technology platforms. You will join a dynamic team of software engineers and collaborate closely with cross-functional and location teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions that meet our clients’ needs. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement software solutions using n-tier architecture across multiple platforms. Utilize expertise in Core Java and Object-Oriented Programming to create robust and efficient code. Enhance application development with SpringBoot and SpringCloud. Leverage containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes for efficient deployment and scaling. Manage database tasks involving DB2 and PostgreSQL, including designing schemas, ensuring data integrity, and optimizing performance. Apply understanding of financial processes and regulations, particularly beneficial if experienced in finance or investment banking. Collaborate with team members, stakeholders, and clients to gather requirements and deliver solutions that meet business objectives. Stay updated with industry trends and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Around 3 - 8 years of software development experience, focusing on n-tier architecture. Strong proficiency in Core Java and OOP. Experience with SpringBoot, SpringCloud, Docker, and Kubernetes. Familiarity with DB2 and PostgreSQL. Financial or investment banking background preferred. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
