TR at CUHK Company Limited (For Talent Pool only) Hong Kong SAR On-site Full Time 3 - 5 Year Associate Job Description: Event Planning and Management - Organize and Execute Events : Plan, coordinate, and manage various events, including summit, webinar, and community outreach programs focused on research and its applications. - Vendor Coordination : Liaise with vendors, venues, and suppliers to ensure all logistical aspects of events are handled efficiently. - Budget Management : Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness while maintaining high-quality standards. Marketing and Promotion - Develop Marketing Strategies : Create and implement marketing strategies to promote events and initiatives, targeting relevant audiences within the biotech and healthcare communities. - Content Creation : Produce engaging content for promotional materials, including brochures, newsletters, and social media posts, to raise awareness about the center's research and events. - Digital Marketing : Utilize digital marketing tools and platforms to enhance the center's online presence and engage with the community effectively. Stakeholder Engagement - Build Relationships : Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including researchers, industry partners, and community organizations, to foster collaboration and support for the center's initiatives. - Networking : Attend industry conferences and networking events to represent the center and promote its mission and research. Research and Analysis - Market Research : Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges within the microbiome sector, providing insights to inform marketing strategies and event planning. - Feedback Collection : Gather feedback from event participants and stakeholders to assess the effectiveness of events and marketing efforts, using this information to improve future initiatives. Administrative Support - Reporting : Prepare reports on event outcomes, marketing performance, and stakeholder engagement activities for management review. - Database Management : Maintain and update databases of contacts, event participants, and marketing materials to ensure accurate and accessible information. Job Requirements: At least 3-4 years’ post-qualification work experience, preferably in the Market and Event Management sector Fast and accurate Chinese and English typing skills; A good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (Putonghua is preferred); Good computer skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint); Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills; A self-motivated and meticulous attitude, and a strong sense of responsibility; The ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and independently. Demonstrate strong organizational skills, creativity, and a passion for advancing micro research is preferred. The appointment will initially be made on a contract basis for one year, renewable subject to mutual agreement. The appointee will work mainly in Hong Kong Science Park. Additional Information
