Freelance Job: Cloned site reverting to old domain somehow linked

Hi there, I wanted to setup a new website using an old website template so I backed up my old site and installed it to my hosting package on 20i for my new domain. I expected them to have two different sites but instead they are all reverting back to the old one. Is there a quick way of fixing this or do I have to delete everything and start from scratch?
