Prepare business plan to meet annual business targets on production and business quality measurements Provide technical support and direction to formulate and monitor overall Underwriting direction, Reinsurance Strategy Plan and drive product development & setting guideline for all relevant departments to ensure effective distribution of products and profitability Arrange pricing and reinsurance arrangement Evaluate risk for new business in accordance with standards, to ensure profitable growth Formulate and implement customer management strategy in acquiring and retaining high quality customers and managing out poor performing portfolio Identify new business and distribution opportunities; manage strategic intermediary relationships and acquisition of new distribution partners Contribute to the refinement of processes and procedures to improve sales systems and procedures Job Requirements
Professional qualification such as IIQE/ANZIIF/ACII and related discipline Minimum 5+ years of experience in general insurance sales, servicing, underwriting, and business development functions with at least 2 years in managerial capacity Local general insurance market expertise with broad general insurance industry knowledge Excellent experience / understanding of class specific underwriting, product knowledge and policy documentation issuance and process Good technical, negotiation and problem-solving skills Excellent command of written and spoken in Chinese, English and proficient in Mandarin Effective interpersonal & communication skills Able to work independently and work under pressure Seniority level
