Major Duties and Responsibilities The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following: Managing a team of System Analysts to maintain IT infrastructure and perform database administration (including web servers, application servers, and RAC Oracle database servers) for Student Administration System (using PeopleSoft Campus Solutions), University Websites, HRMS and Finance System (using Oracle e-Business Suite); Planning and performing upgrades for database systems and the Student Administration System; Assisting in system planning including IT strategies for various IT services; and Performing any other duties as assigned. Candidates Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence: A recognized degree in Information Technology or related disciplines; At least 6 years’ relevant post-qualification experience, preferably with exposure in PeopleSoft application system development / Oracle Database Administration; Good knowledge and working experience in Peoplesoft ERP system (particularly Campus Solutions); Good knowledge and working experience in Oracle Database Administration; A good team player and proactive with good problem solving skills; and Good communication and interpersonal skills, and proficient in both English & Chinese. Candidates may be invited to attend a written test.
