Provide support for the day-to-day operations of 7x24 round the clock services Understanding business technology drivers to support DEVOPS process Provide support for environmental monitoring, automated deployment, and continuous integration Maintaining the security and consistency of source code repositories Partner with vendors, external service providers and internal development team and incorporating them as an extension of the team for DEVOPS processing Working shifts or be on call Job Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related fields 2 years of experience working on Infrastructure or Platform Support Strong experience in Linux/Unix Administration and Internet protocols Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and cloud services (experience with AWS and Google is required) A working understanding of SQL and MySQL (e.g. NoSQL, Mongo and Redis), code and script (e.g. PHP, Python and Perl) and configuration management (Jenkins, Ansible, Docker and Git) Knowledge of best practices in operational processes, DevOps, deployment checklists, and more Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service Strong problem-solving skills Experience with Monitoring and log analytics tools (e.g. Elastic Search, Splunk, Grafana, Graphite, InfluxDB, Cacti)
