We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join our client's dynamic quantitative strategy team.
This role is pivotal in enhancing the trading strategies and engines to achieve superior execution performance.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in core Java development, coupled with a passion for algorithmic trading and financial markets.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and Enhance Trading Strategies:
Design, develop, and optimize trading strategies and engines using core Java to ensure high performance and reliability.
Algorithm Development:
Collaborate with quantitative analysts to develop algorithms that improve the execution performance of our trading systems.
Data Analysis:
Analyze trading signals and market data to refine and optimize trading strategies.
Collaboration:
Work closely with quantitative analysts, data scientists, and other developers to integrate and implement new algorithms seamlessly.
System Robustness:
Ensure the robustness, scalability, and efficiency of our trading systems to handle high-volume, low-latency trading environments.
Innovation:
Stay abreast of the latest developments in financial technology and algorithmic trading to bring innovative solutions to our trading strategies.
Qualifications:
Core Java Expertise:
Proven experience in core Java development in Unix/Linux environments, particularly within algorithmic trading environments.
Trading Systems Knowledge:
Strong understanding of trading systems, execution performance optimization, and market microstructure.
Analytical Skills:
Experience in analyzing trading signals and market data to derive actionable insights and optimize strategies.
Problem-Solving:
Excellent problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
Team Collaboration:
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and fast-paced team environment.
Preferred Skills:
KDB/q Experience:
Experience with KDB/q is a significant plus, enabling effective handling and analysis of time-series data.
Financial Market Familiarity:
Strong knowledge of financial markets, trading concepts, and market dynamics.
Middleware Tech:
Experience with low-latency messaging middleware pub/sub technologies.
