Project Manager, Business Transformation (VP/Director)
This is a new job opportunity for a Senior Project Manager (VP/Director level) to join a well-known investment banking business in Hong Kong that operates global markets, capital markets (ECM/DCM) and M&A advisory services in APAC regions over decades. This hire aims to be an influential member to drive end-to-end projects and transformation to cope with Asia businesses on an ongoing basis. Responsibilities: In charge of planning, organizing and directing projects timely and ensure that the expected deliverable results in high-quality transformation projects Proactively understand internal and external business process workflow and identify problematic issues to facilitate a well-planned business transformation strategy Ensure group-wide governance are managed consistently and derived by practical decision-making, risk management, issue identification, resolution and escalation, change management process for scope, budget/resources and timeline Communicate effectively with both internal stakeholders and external vendors on project planning and execution Comply with all applicable regulations, rules, codes, guidelines and standards set by local regulator, and carry out duties with high integrity Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks, including but not limited to financial, resource and/or regulatory changes, to safeguard the programme’s objectives Deploy post-project implementation and support to continuous improvement Requirements: Bachelor’s/University degree as minimum 10+ years of experiences in project management, preferably with proven track records in relevant experiences on complex projects in reputable financial institutions and management consultancy exposure Profound understanding of capital markets and investment banking business Shows capabilities to interact and influence stakeholders at appropriate level Project management knowledge and experience working with diverse group of stakeholders to achieve milestones and deadlines and capability to handle multiple projects at one time Problem solving ability with adherence to deadlines and tight timeliness Strong command of verbal and written skills in English Seniority level
