The successful candidate will be part of the Hong Kong Trade floor support team and responsible for supporting Traders and Trading Systems for various exchanges. This includes both providing Level 1 and Level 2 support, so good technical skills in (Unix, SQL are required). Responsibilities: Provide L1 and L2 application production support to internal users for the trading and front-office systems Troubleshoot and diagnose issues in the trading environment Provide application support, enhancements, release management and troubleshooting assistance of in-house systems and third-party applications. Follow up with L2 and L3 team on production issues and queries Provide support for SQL and FIX Technologies for in house applications and client OMS integrations Act as an interface between Traders and Back office, Compliance team. Requirements: Independent, with a willing to learn attitude. Minimum 3 years proficiency, support and good experience in Trading System (OMS/EMS) applications like Fidessa, GL OMS, Bloomberg OMS or any other in-house OMS Proficient use of scripting languages and preferably demonstrable competence in at least one dynamic programming language, e.g. Shell, Perl or Python Good knowledge of Cash Equity business in a DMA/DSA, Agency and Program Trading environment Front office application support experience Experience with FIX certification/connectivity/setup and troubleshoot Seniority level
