Transport Operations and M&R Supervisor is responsible for following standard of transportation practice including planning daily load & route schedules, route control, controlling maintenance expenditure, and incident management. To oversee and schedule fleet inspections, maintenance, and servicing to minimize downtime and ensure that the organisation's fleet assets are maintained and developed in accordance with agreed business plans, objectives, and standards. Ensure that goods, vehicles, and any other properties are handled with care and in a professional manner. Follow good safety practices to prevent dangerous or hazardous impacts to properties and human safety. Lead the team to follow company rules & regulations as well as in conjunction with internal & external concerns to achieve excellence in performance and exceed customer expectations. Responsibilities: Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives in coordination with Operations leaders. Supervise, lead and control the transport team for daily operations e.g. plan delivery schedules, time data records, check and load dispatching goods, etc. Ensure that all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are achieved and maximize efficiency through achieving productivity targets. Support and assist Operations Manager in all aspects to help operations run smoothly to achieve the targets with the best efficiency and reasonable cost. Manage and control all expenditures within the approved budget. Monitor all driver working hours to ensure that drivers get proper rest and prevent accidents. Ensure that any incidents occurring, especially during delivery time, are prevented and that all drivers perform in accordance with safety rules and policies. Advise Operations Manager or Senior Management immediately if any irregularities, malpractice, or suspected incidents of cheating or misappropriation occur within the Site. Be a role model for safe routines and successfully implement transportation operations in compliance with health & safety standards and operating model processes. Provide administrative support to Senior Management for updating, filing, and storing documents such as route cards, site cards, and risk assessments. Lead and coordinate the government fleet annual inspection program. Organize and oversee strict fleet maintenance and servicing schedules to minimize downtime. Work with truck M&R vendors to develop and execute contingency measures for fleet breakdowns to minimize operational downtime. Maintain accurate and detailed records of fleet inspections and services. Monitor fleet costs and ensure that they remain within budget. Understand and execute PR / PO processes and ensure accuracy. Engage suppliers to ensure maintenance works are completed on time. Qualifications: At least 2 years of working experience in transport operations. Experience in the petroleum and gas industry is desirable. High level of computer literacy, particularly in MS Office. Proactive personality with good interpersonal skills, service orientation, and organizational skills. Knowledge of SAP systems is beneficial.
