Liberte HR is partnering with a US Medical Devices Industry, with a strong market capitalization and exciting product line, considered to be one of the most exciting Medical Device companies in recent years. They are seeking a commercial manager focused on Marketing and Business Development for their new product portfolio (large capital equipment involved in Surgical/Diagnostic). The role will be based in their Hong Kong office focused on the Asia Pacific region. Role Summary: The role will focus on pre-market activities, particularly in the medical field, with an emphasis on diagnostic and interventional procedures. This role involves identifying and establishing relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and stakeholders. The individual will be responsible for engaging and guiding customers through the pre-commercial phase, leading into the full commercialization of the product portfolio. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills in fostering physician and executive-level engagement within a dynamic and evolving market. Collaboration across the Company's global commercial and engineering teams will be essential. Key Responsibilities: Prepare market entry strategies in the Asia-Pacific region by developing relationships with physicians, hospital executives, and leaders of relevant medical societies. Build internal expertise on specialties such as interventional pulmonology, interventional radiology, and thoracic surgery, with a focus on diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Gather market insights on how screening and diagnostic programs are implemented across different healthcare institutions. Develop strategies that leverage clinical and economic data to support the adoption of new medical technologies. Understand financial considerations and return on investment (ROI) calculations for hospital stakeholders evaluating new procedures and technologies. Maintain regular communication with regional and global commercial leadership teams. Travel up to 40% as required within the APAC region. Skills, Experience, and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences or related field within the medical device industry. Minimum of 5 years of experience in the medical device industry, with portfolio management for large capital equipment. Background in medical device sales, sales management, and marketing. Experience traveling within APAC, especially Greater China region will be valuable. Strong collaboration and communication skills. Proven ability to work effectively across different regions, cultures, and cross-functional teams. Experience operating in a global business environment and understanding market dynamics in Asia. Knowledge of early-stage product and procedure adoption strategies. Ability to present and clearly articulate business strategies to internal stakeholders and leadership teams.
