Compliance Strategy & Data Science Manager - Compliance Strategy & Governance Section Job ID: 4701 Responsibilities Assist Section Head and Compliance Division (COMD) to implement compliance transformation projects, data and analytics strategy. Collaborate with all compliance departments to identify opportunities and support management decision with data insights. Facilitate COMD to attain data-driven compliance insights through the use of customer data, including structured and unstructured data, internal and external data. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors on project planning and execution. Advise and support users to build artificial intelligence / machine learning (AI/ML) models so as to attain data-driven compliance. Advise and assist users to undertake in-depth analysis with advanced customer analytics and big data technology by using internal and external data. Requirements University graduate in Computer Science, Applied Statistics, Decision Science, Data Science or in relevant disciplines. Minimum 5 years working experience in Data Science / Business Analytics from recognized establishments in financial services and/or Fintech related industries. Strong knowledge on data management and analysis. Strong knowledge on data preparation (e.g. SQL) and data product development. Experience in database such as Teradata or similar technology. Experience in cloud environment (e.g. GCP, AWS, etc) is an advantage. Experience in managing large scale projects is an advantage. Relevant HKIB qualification will be an advantage. Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese.
