About the role: As the Chief Risk Officer at FundPark, you will be responsible for overseeing Credit Underwriting, Overall Risk Management (including portfolio risk, market risk, operational risk, etc.), and Legal & Compliance functions. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will play a critical role in shaping and implementing risk management strategies to safeguard the organization's interests and ensure regulatory compliance. What You Do: Develop and implement comprehensive risk management policies and procedures. Conduct risk assessments and analysis to identify potential threats and opportunities. Monitor and manage credit underwriting processes to minimize default risks. Implement strategies to mitigate portfolio risks and market risks effectively. Oversee operational risk management practices to enhance efficiency and security. Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. Lead the Legal & Compliance team to address legal issues and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align risk management strategies with business objectives. Provide regular risk reports and updates to the CEO and Executive Committee Members. Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging risks, and best practices in risk management. Develop risk mitigation strategies for new products or business initiatives. Conduct stress tests and scenario analyses to assess the organization's resilience to adverse events. Foster a culture of risk awareness and compliance throughout the organization. Manage relationships with external auditors, regulators, and other relevant parties. Lead the response to risk incidents and crises effectively. What You Need to Have: Minimum of 10 years of experience in risk leadership roles within the financial services, eCommerce, or banking industries. Strong understanding of credit underwriting processes and risk management principles. Proven track record in developing and implementing risk management strategies. Excellent knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards. Proficiency in both Mandarin Chinese and English languages; Cantonese proficiency is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and interpersonal abilities. Leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and motivate teams. Strategic thinking and decision-making skills. Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external stakeholders. Experience in managing legal and compliance functions. Familiarity with risk assessment tools and methodologies. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. Strong ethics and integrity in handling sensitive information. Relevant certifications or advanced degrees in risk management, finance, or a related field.
