We are seeking a dedicated Trade Floor Technical Support Specialist to join our client's dynamic IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support to trade floor operations, ensuring that hardware, software, and network-related issues are addressed promptly and effectively. Responsibilities of the Role: Provide dedicated technical support for trade floor operations, including hardware, software, and network-related issues. Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop systems, peripherals, applications, and trade floor-specific market data applications. Manage video conferencing tools and provide presentation support for meetings and trading sessions. Collaborate with other IT teams and vendors to escalate and resolve complex technical issues. Assist in maintaining IT inventory and asset management records. Ensure compliance with IT security policies and procedures. Provide on-call support during critical trading hours to address urgent technical issues promptly. Stay updated on technological advancements and recommend improvements to enhance the end-user experience. Required Skills for the Role: Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field (or equivalent experience). Around 3 years of relevant experience in desktop support, preferably in the financial services or investment banking sector. Proficient in supporting Bloomberg, Refinitiv, and local market data products. Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac OS, Microsoft Office 365, and basic networking concepts. Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues. Familiarity with ITIL service desk-related processes. Exceptional customer service and communication skills. Fluency in Mandarin, Cantonese, and English to effectively communicate with bilingual users. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
