About the Role We are looking to hire a Manager/Senior Manager for the Fiduciary Business Development ("FIDBD") Department. The candidate will be responsible for using contacts within the network to achieve team and firm growth revenue targets, generate new business opportunities and pitch for new business within the Greater China market. Who You'll Be Working With As part of the BD team, the candidate will be reporting into the Business Development Director. What You'll Be Doing Responsible for generating new business, promoting full scope of services offered by Harneys Fiduciary. Manage a pipeline of clients in the asset management, banking, investment funds, securities, private wealth, legal and corporate services sector. Assist senior team member to pitch offshore investment fund and trust formation as well as offshore structuring on IPO and M&A deals through meetings and seminars. Oversee preparation of documents and client communication in respect of the formation of deal structure. Drafting proposals and engagement letters as well as managing sales process to ensure a mandate is signed, sealed and delivered to fiduciary team. Responsible for mapping out firm’s growth strategies in Beijing, Hong Kong or Shanghai and developing on-the-ground business development strategies. Collaborate with internal teams including the law firm to ensure alignment and support for business development initiatives. Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time, examples might include local event organisation assistance, marketing exercises, Key Client initiatives, local elements to compliance projects etc. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s or above with 5+ years of experience in client facing/business development role in corporate services industry. Excellent written and oral communication skills in Putonghua and English. Trackable and proven record on business development success with lawyers, bankers, asset managers and corporate services providers, customer portfolio management and team performance. High level of self-motivation and ability to work within a team while maintaining focus on objectives. Highly organized with the ability to effectively juggle matters, ensuring each reaches its conclusion. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
