Operations Manager (Regional Telecom Carrier) Client Description Regional IT services and solutions provider Job Description Implementation, operations and maintenance of STIX, C+ ILC, E-Line, IPVPN Services and all other related network management, hosting infrastructures & monitoring system in Shatin, Kwai Chung, Tseung Kwan O and Chai Wan DC. Conduct service review with outsourced vendors/contractors and review SLA figures committed. Lead operation team for the implementation of network infrastructures and customer projects, including project management and provisioning work of the above Services, ensuring all project milestones are successfully completed by the target commissioning date to enable service rollout. Coordinate with Service Manager, HQ/TAC for work around (e.g. re-routing), improvement plan, and incident report. For non-SM customers, conduct post-mortem review with customer and drive for improvement plan. Oversee day-to-day operations activities, such as preparing network diagrams, asset and inventory lists, BCP/IT DR plans for infrastructure systems, security incident response plans/procedures (including physical and network security), change management procedures, vulnerability management, patch management, access policy, data centre facilities preventive maintenance plans, visitor policy, physical access procedures, Operations SOP, training procedures, and log review procedures. Perform any other jobs assigned by the Senior Manager and Technical Director. Job Requirements Degree in Telecommunications, IT or related studies. 5 years or above hands-on Telecommunications or IT related working experience. Ability to be independent and knowledgeable to prioritize tasks when handling multiple faults and projects simultaneously. Tactful when addressing and handling customer complaints and driving for improvement plans. Good oral, written presentation, and communication skills in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. Technical certification of CCNA/JUNOS. Familiar with transmission equipment, IP and routing, data communication equipment, network management systems, LAN/WAN technologies, etc. Familiar with ISO27001 standard. Customer-oriented with good interpersonal skills. Cantonese speaking and fluency in English and Chinese (spoken & written). Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
