Job Responsibilities: System Planning and Implementation:
Responsible for the planning and implementation of ELV including Fiber/Telco, Security BMS systems (including BA, EPMS, EMS, SCADA), for data centers in the Asia-Pacific region. This includes liaising with stakeholders and vendors, establishing design, tendering, and implementation standards and defining delivery standards (e.g., testing standards, process standards, acceptance documentation requirements). End-to-End Technical Management:
Manage the entire lifecycle of ELV, Security & BMS system projects, from design and implementation to handover. This encompasses solution development, tendering and review of construction drawings, technical management of consultants and vendors, technical liaison with overseas clients, and innovative solution development. Project Delivery Management:
Manage the delivery of ELV, Security & BMS systems for data center projects within your assigned region. Establish efficient processes, standardized documentation, and oversight of vendor deliverables, ensuring adherence to quality, schedule, and accuracy standards for drawings, documentation, tender and engineering work. Collaboration and Problem Solving:
Collaborate closely with project teams, contractors, and other relevant departments to resolve on-site technical issues. Technology Trend Monitoring:
Stay abreast of the latest developments in ELV, Security & BMS technology and assess the application potential of new technologies in projects. Other Duties:
Perform other tasks as assigned by superiors. BMS Technology Roadmap (Optional):
Develop the technical roadmap for BMS in data centers, incorporating Electrical and Cooling infrastructure to create standardized design solutions for data center BMS systems. Intelligent Data Center Operations (Optional):
Explore intelligent data center operations, building stable and efficient underlying monitoring systems, and deeply customizing Electrical and HVAC control systems to minimize manual intervention and achieve automated system operation. Requirements: Excellent Communication Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Mandarin, enabling effective communication with team members from diverse cultural backgrounds. ELV & Security or BMS Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience in ELV and Security or BMS system implementation, with experience working with contractors and manufacturers. Proven ability to independently manage the entire lifecycle of system projects. Education:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Electronic Information Engineering, Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field. (Candidates with significant BMS experience may have alternative educational backgrounds considered). Industry Knowledge:
Familiarity with ELV and Security or BMS system industry standards and regulations and understanding of advanced technologies in related systems. Software Proficiency:
Proficient in AutoCAD (CAD drawing), Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Personal Attributes:
Strong coordination and problem-solving skills; high sense of responsibility and initiative; ability to handle pressure; strong work ethic; commitment to excellence; and excellent teamwork skills. Qualifications: Data Center Experience:
Extensive experience managing PA system, Fire Alarm System, CCTV system, Card Access, Structure Cabling, Security and BMS systems throughout the lifecycle of large-scale data center/high-precision factory projects, with strong management experience and capabilities in data center equipment and facility design and delivery. ELV, Security & BMS System Expertise:
Familiarity with the technical principles of mainstream ELV, Security and BMS systems and hands-on experience commissioning at least one ELV, Security and BMS product. International Project Experience:
Experience with international projects. Infrastructure Knowledge:
Understanding of large-scale electrical and cooling infrastructure. Testing and Documentation:
Experience in ELV, Security and BMS system test management and the ability to develop test plans. HVAC Systems Knowledge:
Familiarity with the control and operation logic of mainstream cooling and air conditioning systems. Seniority level
