This position plays an important role in translating business needs into action. You will collaborate with various departments and other external parties to optimize business processes, especially finance, and provide information for immediate control and decision-making. Responsibilities: Assist your accounting manager to provide critical analysis of P&L, Balance sheet, and cash flow while performing the below tasks. Conduct improvement plans such as auto-journal entries with descriptions, auto variance analysis, and performance comment HQ to ensure accuracy, completeness, and reliability of operational costs and reported revenue. Proposed improvement plans. Critically analyze queries or comments from Management, HQ, and stakeholders. Initiate corrective measures and report uncontrolled pending issues. Monitor and update standard costs and revenue to reduce variance with actuals and to highlight late processing to Operation. Conduct in-depth analysis of finance and business processes, systems, and data to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization. Identify/monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of relevant departments and alert/report to management. Use data analytical tools and techniques to extract & transform data for business needs/development using SAP BI, Excel VBA, Power Query, and Microsoft Power automation, DeepSeek. Assist in the Reconciliation of Management Reports with Financials reporting. Ad-hoc reporting and analysis requirements from management. Occasional travel is necessary. Requirements: Accounting degree or diploma with some IT background and capability. Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Business Analyst/Finance controlling preferably in the Freight Forwarding or Courier industry. Strong analytical skills. Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach in identifying issues and proposing innovative solutions. Proficiency in data analysis tools, MS Office, and techniques; experience in using Excel VBA, Power Query, Power automation, Deep Seek, or similar is an added advantage.
