Applications Project Manager / Consultant (Government) Client Description: Regional IT services and solutions provider Job Description: Applications Project Manager (Government) Overall management of the project. Possess a Degree in IT-related disciplines. Possess a recognized valid qualification/certificate related to project management, and possess at least ONE of the following qualifications: Project Management Professional (PMP); or Projects in a Controlled Environment (PRINCE). Have at least 6 years of IT project management experience in planning and controlling IT Project implementation of web-based applications. Possess at least 6 years of IT project management experience in using PRINCE, PMP or SSADM methodologies. Possess at least 1 relevant project reference that the PM has successfully completed in managing system(s) that involves IBM AIX servers and SAN Storage, with a total contract value of not less than HK$5 million for Hong Kong Government and the completion date falls within recent five years. Possess at least 1 relevant project reference that the PM has successfully completed, from project initiation to system rollout and system nursing, in managing the implementation of web-based application system(s) for law enforcement agency of Hong Kong Government adopting the technologies in imaging, photo album and chain of custody workflow management. Job Requirements: At least 2 System Analysts (SA) shall be responsible for analyzing user requirements, producing specifications, evaluating implementation and migration options, performing system sizing, conducting system user acceptance testing, etc. They shall possess a Degree in IT-related disciplines. Possess at least 4 years of system analysis and design experience in the implementation of web-based application system using IBM WebSphere Application Server, HTML 5 and Java 8. Possess at least 1 year of IT experience in implementation or maintenance support of web-based application system(s) for law enforcement agency of Hong Kong Government adopting the technologies in imaging, photo album and chain of custody workflow management. Possess at least 1 year of IT experience in supporting application system(s) with monitoring and support tools of Tivoli. Candidates with less experience will be considered for Senior Consultant.
