Private Banking and Trust Services 
Hang Seng's Private Banking provides services for people who have successfully built their asset base and now want to place their wealth in the hands of experts who know how to nurture it. 

Our banking services and products are bespoke, ranging from tailored investment advice and capital solutions to holistic health and personal protection and trustee services. Our team offers professional wealth management advice at both a local level and on a global scale. 

Should you join our Private Banking business, you will focus on building close relationship with our high-net-worth customers, providing professional advice and premium service to them and contribute to the profitability of the Bank.

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our department as Senior Wealth Planning Advisor


Principal responsibilities:

  • Identify and assess client needs, offering insights regarding the use of trusts, family office, companies, insurance and other tools from family succession, tax and legal perspective
  • Coordinate with clients’ external advisors and services providers to facilitate solution design and implementation
  • Foster strong working relationships with relationship managers to identify specific client needs and promote targeted campaigns
  • Train up and raise the professionalism of frontline staff in trust or other relevant succession knowledge.
  • Participate in any ad hoc project as assigned by the Head of Trust Services from time to time
  • University degree in Law, Accounting or related discipline
  • Full (TEP) membership in Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) is a MUST
  • Insurance license (IIQE paper 1-3) is a benefit
  • Minimum 8 years of experience from trust services providers, tax advisory, or family office
  • Extensive network in legal, taxation and trust fields.
  • Requires extensive knowledge with tax and regulatory and case management experience is a plus
  • Solid client facing experience is a must with strong understanding of private client distribution
  • Strong self-motivation and ability to work under pressure
  • Proficiency in both English and Chinese, with proficiency in Putonghua an advantage
  • Professional qualifications such as Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) and/or Certified Banker (CB) under Hong Kong Institute of Bankers (HKIB) would be an advantage.
