Senior Project Manager - Landscape Design (Based in Macau)
The candidate will be responsible for landscape concept design through construction administration, including monitoring and coordinating Landscape Architecture teams and consultants, preparing documents and reports, attending meetings, and documenting and following up with design directions to ensure compliance with Owner's design requirements. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Support the VP - Design Support (Landscape) to monitor and supervise hardscape and softscape Landscape Architecture consultants in developing Design efforts; including coordination, monitoring schedules and costs in an effort to achieve owner's design requirements with designated budgets and program. Monitor and supervise the Landscape Architecture consultant(s) in completing tasks on schedule. Review and comment on consultant's submissions including drawings, specifications, design reports, technical reports, programs, schedules, and budgets. Support the value engineering of consultants' design and recommend cost-effective sources, alternative suppliers, and design solutions without compromising the design intent. Provide design support for and communicate closely with the consultant team on new/modified designs for the projects, as required. Work closely with consulting teams in resolving key design issues that may affect the individual and overall Design or impair the progress of work. Support the in-house team in the preparation of tender packages. REQUIREMENTS: Minimum 15 years' experience in Landscape Architecture; experience shall be in architectural or Landscape architecture firms, or within the landscape design management office of a property developer. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in large-scale projects required. Familiar with the specification of landscaping materials and installation details. Experience in Macau is a plus. Capable of preparing sketches, perspectives, and details; able to use AutoCAD. Knowledge in other drawing programs would be an advantage. The candidate must be fluent in Cantonese and English. Proficiency in Mandarin is a plus. Seniority level
