Resident Works Supervisor I (Building Services) - (REF. NO.: HO2301007) Extended on 26.6.2024 Amended on 1.8.2024 Pay:
HK$34,070 to HK$39,485 [ HG PS point 13 to 16 ] per month including Monthly Allowance Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance. Key Responsibilities: Assist the Building Services Inspector on all aspects of supervision of building services work on site within the contracts and the maintenance of site records. Assist in the monitoring of labour resources, progress, materials and equipment used on site. Assist in the checking of site measurements of building services works and payments claimed by contractors. Assist in the site survey of existing building services installations during the construction stage, including submission of proposals for additional, alteration or repair works. Assist in the inspection of testing and commissioning of building services installations. Assist in the checking of building services operation and maintenance manuals and as-fitted drawings submitted by various contractors. Work according to duty roster, attend emergency calls and perform typhoon duty. Perform any other related duties as assigned by the supervisor. Entry Requirements: (a) A Certificate in Building Services Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from Hong Kong Polytechnic / Hong Kong Polytechnic University / Hong Kong Technical College / Hong Kong Technical Institute / Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education, or equivalent; or (b) 5 years of relevant working experience as a skilled worker in the field of Building Services Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering; or (c) Completed a recognized Technician Apprenticeship in Building Services Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering. At least 3 years’ site supervisory experience subsequent to fulfilling (1) above. A knowledge of English and Chinese equivalent to Form 3 (before 2012) / Secondary 3 standard. Obtained valid Construction Industry Safety Training Certificate (Green Card). Knowledge of other common office automation (e.g. e-mail, Internet / Intranet, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, AutoCAD and other MS Office applications, etc.). Excellent inter-personal communication and presentation skills. Responsible, self-motivated and able to work independently under minimum supervision. Outgoing and able to work under pressure and stressful situations, including crises. Formal training in occupational safety and health.
