Highly respected education institution Non-educational background candidates are welcome Up to HK$150,000 per month plus attractive bonus Our client is a highly respected education institution that is undergoing a significant transformation to improve its HR services and operational efficiency. They are currently looking for a seasoned Associate Director of Human Resources to support the Director of HR in leading critical HR functions. This role will focus on policy development, HR systems management, staff development and special projects that align with the institution's strategic goals. Key Responsibilities: Drive the development and implementation of HR policies and spearhead strategic HR initiatives, collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure success. Contribute to organizational development in areas such as succession planning, employee engagement, and change management to enhance overall people management strategies. Assist in the smooth operation of the HR Office, including setting objectives, formulating performance metrics, and managing resource allocation. Develop and implement strategies to mitigate HR-related risks through effective data management practices. Introduce innovative solutions, including the use of AI and process re-engineering, to improve operational efficiency within the HR function. Oversee the creation and implementation of HR policies related to Mainland development initiatives. Design and implement training strategies that cater to the long-term needs of the institution, focusing on leadership development and compliance training. Take up additional projects as assigned by management. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management/Business Administration or relevant disciplines. Minimum of 15 years of senior-level HR experience in large and complex organizations, preferably in publicly-funded institutions. Extensive knowledge of employment laws and regulations of Hong Kong. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills. Familiarity with the academic landscape in Hong Kong and Mainland China is advantageous. Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese), with fluency in Putonghua preferred.
