THE JOB Reporting to the Assistant Community Relations Manager (ACRM), the Community Relations Officer (CRO) will be responsible for the following duties: Assist the ACRM with the daily operations of the Community Relations Department (CRD); Assist the ACRM in implementing and monitoring policies and procedures of the CRD; Prepare statistics and assist in carrying out reviews as required by the Community Relations Manager and senior staff; Plan and execute community engagement activities for the HKSI and partnering organisations; Manage social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube) related to campaigns. Plan, create and schedule engaging content in line with brand guidelines and campaign requirements; Stay updated on social media trends, platform updates, and industry best practices; Develop community relations opportunities and liaise with current and potential partners or clients to increase engagements; Establish and maintain positive relationships with the media, and deliver timely news through press conferences, media announcements or interviews; Perform any other appropriate duties as assigned by senior staff. THE REQUIREMENTS A university degree in Business Administration/ Sports & Recreation Management/ Marketing/ Communication or a relevant discipline; At least 2 years’ relevant working experience, preferably in online marketing/ PR agencies; Hands-on experience in event management and social media management is essential; Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement; Knowledge of basic graphic design, familiar with Premiere Pro and Photoshop is a plus; Understanding of local sports culture is an advantage; Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese. Ability to speak Putonghua is a definite advantage; Strong organizing, interpersonal skills and highly self-motivated; Meticulous and able to work independently; Computer literate.
