My client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager with a focus on process re-engineering in the banking industry.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of strategic initiatives to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage cross-functional teams to drive process improvement initiatives in the area of operations, daily tasks included but not limited to:
Work closely with operational teams to understand existing processes and pain points
Implement operational changes to improve efficiency and reduce cycle times
Align operational workflows with strategic objectives to drive business value
Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation
Identify opportunities for automation and digitization to enhance operational effectiveness
Collaborate with stakeholders across different business units to ensure project alignment and successful implementation
Monitor and report to senior management on key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of process re-engineering efforts
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, technology, or related field
Minimum 7 years of proven experience in project management, with a focus on process re-engineering in either retail or corporate banking
Strong understanding of technology and its application to business processes
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, Prince2, Scrum Master) preferred
Short notice, immediate availability, and willingness to become a contractor are advantageous
