18/Mar/2025, 3:59:00 PM Major Duties and Responsibilities The appointee will mainly assist the research team for a research project focusing on molecular interaction between harmful microalgae and marine bacteria. The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following: Conducting various experiments in the science laboratory and field sites; Conducting routine microalgae and bacteria cell culturing; Providing support in literature review and data analysis; Working with the Principal Investigator to prepare report writing; and Conducting other research activities as instructed by Principal Investigator. Candidates Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence: A doctoral degree in Environmental Science / Chemistry / Molecular Biology / Biochemistry / Microbiology or a related discipline with a track record of research and publication (for Postdoc); A Bachelor’s degree or above in the above mentioned discipline (for Research Assistant); Good research experience and record in relevant research area; Research experience in metabolomics and proteomics would be an advantage; Strong sense of responsibility, effective organization and interpersonal skills; and Preference will be given to those applicants with technical experiences in microalgae research.
