Post-doctoral Fellow in Epidemiology (Ref.: 502021)Laboratory of Data Discovery for Health Limited Hong Kong SAROn-site Full Time 3 - 5 Year Associate Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in Epidemiology, to commence as soon as possible, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance. The appointee will join the Laboratory of Data Discovery for Health (D24 H), a start-up company incorporated by The University of Hong Kong (HKU) that is led by senior faculty members of the Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine at HKU. The D24 H sets to play a pivotal role in gathering and curating massive, unique data resources and to develop new, deep, frontier analytics in protecting global public health and improving individual healthcare through precision medicine. The appointees are expected to conduct high-quality research on the epidemiology of antimicrobial resistance. Translational research is also expected. Applicants should possess a Doctoral degree in Epidemiology, Bioinformatics, Microbiology, Bio-mathematics/Statistics or other related disciplines. They should have strong expertise and publication records in the epidemiology of infectious diseases, particularly antimicrobial resistance. Research experience in analyzing genotypic and phenotypic antimicrobial resistance data with statistical and/or mathematical approaches would be an advantage. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
