School of Education and Languages: Part-time Research Assistant (E&L) - (25000I5) Job : Temporary/Part-time R&D School/Unit : School of Education and Languages Closing Date : 06/Apr/2025, 3:59:00 PM
Major Duties and Responsibilities The appointee(s) will be responsible mainly for the following: Designing and producing promotional materials for the School and the Research Institute for Bilingual Learning and Teaching, such as poster and webpage design, video recording; Updating webpages related to programmes and research activities; Providing administrative support for research tasks, including database maintenance and record-keeping; Supporting the coordination of research-related meetings, workshops, conferences, and events organized by the School and the Research Institute for Bilingual Learning and Teaching; Performing any other duties as assigned. Candidates Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence: Possession of a recognized bachelor's degree. Candidates with lower qualifications will be considered for the role of Technical Assistant; Proficiency in Graphic and Webpage Design, with previous experience in these areas being advantageous; Competency in computer skills, including proficiency in WORD, EXCEL, Chinese word processing, and graphic design software; Strong command of both English and Chinese (Cantonese & Putonghua); Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Demonstrated effective organizational abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to handle multiple tasks; Exhibit a strong sense of responsibility and motivation, capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team; Preference will be given to candidates with experience in general administration, marketing, and support services within educational environments.
